| From 2009 to 2014, the Riverside International Raceway Museum hosted the events of the century, The Legends of Riverside. A never to be repeated group ofevents, The Legends of Riverside produced the largest gathering of drivers, crew chiefs, car owners, racing celebrities, engineers and motorsports journalists in the sports car racing world ever to be assembled in one place at one time. This book is a tribute to all the racing greats that were there, many of whom are no longer with us. From Carroll Shelby, Parnelli Jones and Dan Gurney to some pf the original competitors in the first Times Grand Prix, they all told stories, laughed and cried over old memories and shared experiences, many never heard before with the few fortunate enough to attend. |
